I recently received an e-mail from a friend of mine regarding choices specifically a person's ability to choose their own attitude of mind and how one can look at any situation either positively or negatively and its direct effect on the outcome of that particular situation. Even though we may not believe it we all have the ability to choose and make decisions, even though we may not like the choices presented.

I have struggled with motivation for years, how to motivate myself, especially to overcome my negative upbringing. Motivation tapes were usually too much for me, using up my time and getting me overexcited so I couldn't sleep and producing in me overoptimistic expectations.

The list you compile can include books you want to read, places you want to visit, shoes you want to wear, instruments you want to play, books you want to write or poetry, classes you want to take, e.g. art classes and drama, photography collections you might want to embark upon, jewellery you want to make, and so it goes on.
