Health Benefits of Meditation
There are many health benefits of meditation. Simply by meditating on a regular basis you can improve your physical and mental health.

Drawing Energy
During various exercises we’ll be drawing energy in through our chakras, into our organs and even through the entire area of our skin. Drawing energy into yourself is fairly easy to do and simply requires a heightened sense of self-awareness to feel.
To begin drawing energy just take a moment and focus on your breathing. Feel your breath as it flows in through your nostrils and down to your Dan Tien, the area two finger-widths below your belly button. Feel the chi as it flows in with your breath down to your Dan Tien. Take a few breaths and let the energy build up and spread through your body.

Seeing and Feeling Energy
If you’ve been doing the exercises that I’ve described then by this point you’ve probably had some interesting experiences with feeling your own internal energy and drawing energy into your body. Now we’re going to work with feeling external energy. As you progress with this you’ll not only be able to feel your own energy, but the energy of the people and things around you. Seeing and feeing energy can also be a lot of fun to experiment and play with. It’s especially fun to get others involved.

Overcoming Difficulties of Meditation
Meditation is not always easy, various difficulties will arise. However we should feel that to be proficient in meditation it takes time and regular practice. It is like developing muscles it will get stronger with regular practice.
