2 Easy Science Fair Projects
Here are a pair of easy science fair projects you can do around the home; one of them is good for biology, the other one teaches physics rather nicely.

Can We Save Astronauts from Space Radiation
One of the biggest hurdles to travel in space will be preventing space radiation from killing our astronauts. Long-term space flight may be impossible because it might take many generations. If so, the space radiation will prevent the reproductive functions on the human body from working and therefore the spaceflight can not be longer than one human generation.

Determination of Total Cyanide Without Distillation
Determination of total cyanide by normal EPA methodology requires either manual or on-line distillation from a sample acidified with a strong acid. Serious problems have been recognized with these traditional methods. This article presents interferences associated with EPA approved methods and describes a non-distillation method based on segmented flow on-line UV digestion-gas diffusion with amperometric detection. This technique eliminates the need for time-consuming distillations, has a throughput of up to 30 samples per hour, and is virtually interference free.

Determination Of Exchangeable Nitrogen In Soil
Nitrogen comprises less than 2% of natural soil, but is an essential nutrient for all plants. The nitrogen that is available to the plant is called exchangeable nitrogen. This article describes a rapid, accurate method for the determination of exchangeable nitrogen in soil samples.

What Ant Pheromones Are And What They Are Used For
Basically ant pheromones are just like any other type of pheromones, and the surprising thing is that most people actually never knew that there were any ant pheromones to begin with. Ants are very tiny insects, and so you may wonder how they produce pheromones, but, as with most other insects and animals, they do.

Symmetry in Physics
Symmetry is a very powerful concept in physics. According to Noether's theorem, for every symmetry there is a corresponding conservation law. For instance, the fact that the laws of physics are invariant with respect to time implies that energy is conserved, the fact that they are invariant with respect to spatial translation implies the conservation of momentum, and the fact that they are invariant with respect to rotation implies the conservation of angular momentum.

Antimatter Is Etheric Double Of Physical Matter
Everything in physical reality exist in two states, the physical state and the etheric state. Physical matter and its etheric double coexist in the same spacetime but out of phase with each other on two different planes of reality. Antimatter is the etheric double of physical matter.
