Humans and their Inability to Cope

Humanistic Psychology Study

The main focus of Humanistic psychology study is based on conscious consciousness, morals and theoretical thinking. These include the spiritual experiences and the beliefs that people live by. Emerging in the 1950's and 1960's, humanism is about rewarding yourself, and places great importance on the individual and their own individuality. Personality depends on what people believe and how they perceive the world and a major factor in this learning theory is that people are seen as freely exercising choice over how to behave. They are the architects of their own lives and 'personal agents' in their own psychological growth.

If we focus on the positive comments, and the best of each situation, we could empower ourselves to realize that if perception is indeed reality, we can choose what kind of world we live in.

Children, War, and Terrorism

Those with disrupted attachments fail to reach pro-social maturity interpersonally, in affect regulation and self control, and in moral development. Generations of war and violence in the Middle East continues to produce more terrorists. The world must make a commitment to care for its children.

Intelligence, Intuitiveness and Personality

Genes and How the Brain Perceives

Does ones own genes and DNA affect the way they perceive what they see and the experiences they have? If so are some people more adapted than others to pick up signs others do not?
