Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) networking certification provides trainee knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshooting local and wide area networks. The CCNA certification students have knowledge to manage the routers and switches that form the core network. It enables students to understand configuring, installing and managing Cisco Networking devices, IP addressing, sub netting, and assignment, interface and sub interface configuration, WAN, LAN & VLANs, expertise them in use of IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, and Access Lists protocols. CCNA certification teaches them to install and configure Cisco switches and routers in multi-protocol internet works using LAN and WAN interfaces, Spanning Tree Protocol, connectivity to a WAN switch for frame relay and ISDN and hence improve network performance and security. On the other hand it also enables them to install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services.
