2. Is your phone number, address and job dates the only numbers on your resume?

3. Does your resume talk about job duties or responsibilities in prior jobs divorced from actual business results delivered? Does each line of your resume answer the question, "So tell me about another business problem you solved?"

4. Do less than half of the lines on your resume start with a bullet?

Grading the test is easy. If you answered yes to ANY of these questions your resume stinks.

These are some of my biggest resume “pet peeves” - the bigger and most common mistakes made on resumes I see every day. Scan your current resume for these problems; if you find them, re-write your resume.
