You have to make a lot of decisions as to what you are going to market, who you are going to market to, how you are going to market your product and/or services, how much you are going to charge, etc. As the old saying goes, “A journey begins with the first step”, so does starting your business begin with your first stepUsually, there are basi

The Importance Of Intrinsic Motivation As Part Of An Online Marketing Campaign
There are many documents online that talk about the psychology of the searcher and how understanding this psychology can further the effectiveness of your online marketing efforts. Few cover the subject of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and of those less than a handful impart any real understanding of the subject.Human motivation falls in two categories, intrinsic and extrinsic, intrinsic motivation comes from within and e
Color is the most neglected subject in sales and marketing. Non-designing marketers abandoned the subject of colors to their webmasters or graphic designers. However, the subject of color is the business of all of us. Your understanding the principles of color will make your marketing promotions outstanding. This is how fortunes are made.

The study of color in design is as complex as the variety of colors in existence. I must start by simplifying a complex subject by going back to the basics--the primary colors. Scientists and artists differ in their definition and application of colors. When scientist talk of primary colors, they are referring to the primary colors of light (spectrum) and not pigment or paint. The primary colors of light are Red, Green and Blue (RGB colors popular with computer and TV screens). On the other hand, when artists talk of colors--especially in print, they are referring to the primary colors of pigment. These are Red, Yellow and Green. This "RYG" colors has been branded as CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). K stands for Black so as to not confuse it with Blue. Cyan is a nickname for Blue or dark Blue. Magenta is another name for purplish Red.

    Capturing A Customer Forever
Imagine being able to make a steady income just by sending emails out to people. This is a very common practice among some of the top internet business men and women today. This works in any niche but in my opinion, the internet marketer niche or B2B is one of the largest and most profitable. Some of the biggest names never even have to advertise their products because they have such a large list. All they do is send out a few emails and either

    Align eCommerce Expectations
Lauren Freedman compared two sets of surveys and found some "surprising variances" and striking differences between what e-tailers and their best customers want. Given the huge run up in holiday sales, it is remarkable that buyers' and sellers' expectations are so out of synch. Lauren, my old friend and colleague, is the premiere e-tailing consultant on the planet. She surveyed 2472 online shoppers of which 2000 bought an average of $488 in me

Why Is It That Affiliates Get Stuck In A Rut?
One reason is that are expectations don’t match the reality. We expected to make money in 30 days and put in a lot of effort to do so, but then come to find out that we have earned very little if anything at all. The notion of “this is not working” sets in and we start to look at what is not working rather than investigate why it is not working. We also tend to major in the minor. We build fancy web sites with lots of content and great loo

The difference in these two major color modes is that screens emit colors in form of light when you look at them. Paper (print) on the other hand absorb colors in form of pigment. This is why color mode in print (CMYK) must be different from that of monitors (web design and TV graphics) which must come in RGB color mode. This is how we come to talk about web-friendly colors. This is also the reason why what works on screen does not work in print. The standard resolution for monitors is 72 dpi while the resolution for most print jobs is 300 dpi. Dpi stands for dots per inch. It measures the resolution of your monitor setting. You should not confuse dpi with pixels which is picture elements.

Overall, colors affect the way we live, interact and do business. Look around you and you will notice that our environment is draped in colors. Therefore, the best way to study colors is to study nature.

Art and Design is man's attempt to copy nature. So, color study takes us back to appreciation of nature. Color contrast and harmony which is central to design work is prevalent in nature study. For instance, green snakes blend with green grass to escape detection. Look at
