    Covert Surveillance - Shoplifiting Prevention
Call them what you will: Loss Prevention, Assets Protection, Security, or Store Detectives. The larger your store, the more you need to protect your assets from shoplifting. Shoplifting costs businesses millions of dollars every year. Protection is important, but if your customers feel like they're being watched, they'll feel uncomfortable and shop elsewhere. While a visual deterrent will make dishonest shoppers think twice about stealing, if you're interested in catching thieves, your surveillance will need to be covert. “Once Upon a Cubicle there was a man who wanted out
He knew he couldn’t stay here but still was filled with doubt
The thought of no weekly paycheck turned his smile into a pout
But ‘A business startup is my heaven’ was all that he could shout!”

Funny doggerel, you’d say, but this is the kind of dilemma so many men and women go through every day. The dream of being your own boss and living a more wholesome life versus the loss of security of a paycheck is a huge battle. But free sticky notes or the lack of it is keeping fewer and fewer dreamers in jobs that don’t rock their socks any more.

The reasons people cite for quitting mainstream, regular jobs and turning to entrepreneurship are wide and varied. Some want to chase a dream, some want to spend more time with family and some are looking for creative satisfaction. Whatever the motivation may be, most entrepreneurs I meet agree on one thing – starting out on their own has given them more satisfaction- personal and professional, than any other job they’ve ever had.

There is the satisfaction of being appreciated, of utilizing one’s skills, ideas and capabilities to one’s direct advantage and having a well-rounded life. That is why starting your own business is a liberating and exciting challenge. More than making pots of money, it is about finding your place under the sun, making your mark doing what you like to do and are good at.

If you are the guy in my limerick and looking for a reason to cut loose from the cubicle, here are 10 reasons to do it:

    1. You Would Love Your Work– When you get into business for yourself you most likely choose something you are passionate about and are good at. This mixture of proficiency and passion is what makes it worthwhile.

    2. There Is No Retirement: A businessman never has to retire from the job. You like your work and are enthusiastic about it and that makes it possible for you to go on till you feel the time is right to call it a day. You get to decide when to quit, not HR or the boss.

    3. You’d Be Your Own Boss: Seriously, this one doesn’t even need an explanation! You can set targets for yourself and chart out your own course. You get to decide whether you want to spend the most productive hours of your day working on a new sales campaign or go to a meeting where most people are looking somber and secretly doodling on their writing pads.

Why Your California Home Should Undergo Annual Mold Inspections
Are you a California homeowner? If you are, do you know if you currently have a mold problem? Although a large number of California homeowners are able to tell right away if they have a mold problem, as mold is often easy to spot, there are some homeowners who may have no idea that they have a mold problem. Unfortunately, by the time it is found out that there is a mold problem; the cost of mold removal is often quite high, as the problem may have spread or gotten worse. To prevent yourself from being put in that type of situation, you may want to think about havi

    Business To Business
Most businessmen prefer going about their concerns with partners. The main reason is that they will just have to invest on a portion since the other portion would be filled in by their partner. There are also times when there comes the business to business merging between the partners. They see this as an effective way of widening their opportunity for profit. However, as there is always a bad side to anything, if during the time that the business to business dealings come to an end, both of the involved persons should be willing to face the consequences that ta

    4. You Learn More: When you are the CEO, the janitor, the accountant, copy writer and the customer support team (plus a whole lot of other things like the official coffee maker and the receptionist) learning is inevitable and the learning curve much steeper.

    5. You Will Be Creating Wealth: Creation of wealth is the hallmark of a business - for yourself and for other people. If you look closely you will find that the world’s richest people were either born rich or built their riches through a business idea that they had the guts to take forward and sustain.

    6. You Will Be More Satisfied: There is no instant gratification anywhere in the world, in any activity! Being in business is a deeper, longer-lasting satisfaction than being a part of the 6.00 pm back-to-home commuter crowd. The challenges, the rewards and the learning a start-up business offers is far more gratifying.

    7. You Can Be Creative And Be Rewarded For It: When you are in a start-up situation, you are on your own and the paucity of resources necessitates lateral thinking. For an entrepreneur, creative thinking is directly proportional to the rewards received.

    8. It Is Not That Hard: This is the top reason why people should get into business. Most people considering a stat-up business feel it’s too tough to start from scratch. Use my 5K Biz Model and new business books to learn the basics and join business groups to get ideas and support.

    9. Control: When you decide to be an entrepreneur, you take charge of your life. You are in control of what happens to your career, who you want to work with and how. Your future is in your own hands – that’s a whole new type of job security.

    10. Flexibility: You can live your life the way you want to, work when you want to, and take vacations when you want to not when your boss lets you. You get to work towards the goals you set for yourself and sometimes you get to do that at 2 am at home.

There are more than ten reasons to start a new business for most people. Your reasons are yours but the day you turn entrepreneur will be the day that marks the biggest and the best change in your life.
