Cutting Through the Noise to More Sales!
When it seems everybody is using great graphics, and there are so many marketing messages competing for our customers’ attention, Phil Ashforth, Synergy Coaching Business Coach, asks us to consider what we can do to make our offer, stand apart from the crowd.New channels, new media, new technology – It’s easy to see why so many companies find competing for customers a headache. Yet, with all the technology and new ways of presenting sales and marketing messages, why does it seem so hard for so many companies to make any real impression? In many ways, it appears that we are experiencing a backlash to technology, increasingly companies are removing there telephone numbers from sales databases, narrowing the pool available for outbound call centres, intensifying the battle so that companies still on the lists are getting more sales calls, often of variable quality, than ever.Similarly with other marketing techniques, there is growing evidence that as businesses and individuals, we are experiencing ‘noise burnout’, filtering all types of advertising and placing printed materials, mainly into the B.I.N file (wastebasket) with nothing more than a cursory glance at the envelope to determine it as junk mail.So we all need to keep new customers in the pipeline, and tell our audience of prospective and existing buyer

The Magic Behind A Full Time Income From Home
FULL TIME INCOME WORKING FROM HOMEWe’ve all seen the thousands upon thousands of advertisements that offer full time incomes from our home office. Often time they deal with things like reselling, multilevel marketing, and programs which require huge down lines and a long term plan of action before the money starts to roll in.Online jobs are a dime a dozen. Good online jobs and work from home opportunities aren’t quite so plentiful, but they are not as rare as you may think either. The successful work at home programs are blowing apart the work a day world by storm and people from every walk of life are getting in on the action. Transitioning to a work at home position is not out of reach if know what information to hone in on and how to capitalize on that information.THE BASIC SECRETS OF MYSTERY SHOPPINGBy now, most of us have heard of mystery shopping and we think we have a pretty good idea of what it is. Some of us even thoughts about it, maybe even purchased one of those $29.99 deals that promised we’d be rolling in money within a few short weeks but never really explained how we were supposed to do that. Frustrating.Mystery shopping is a work at home job that allows you to set your own hours, be your own boss, experience people, and often walk away with free merchandise as well as a paycheck. An
Online success is found by solving pressing problems. People go online seeking solutions to painful, nagging problems and, if you offer those solutions, they will gladly pay you for your assistance.

Even after three years on the Internet, we can feel your frustrations. We, at times, suffer from the same issues. Here is the answer we all have been waiting for. If you understand the solutions, (there are more than one), then you are well on the way to Internet Success.

It is not necessary to be an Internet Marketing Guru to have success on the Internet. Just follow seven, (not so easy steps).

What we are about to discuss is an overview and, in no way, a complete explanation of each topic. Books, ezines, and articles have been written on EACH subject.

Our suggestions are "bullet points" four YOU to begin YOUR RESEARCH.

    1. email campaigns - Always include a signature, (Full name, address, email address, website), at the end of each email.

Always provide an optout statement, with an easy optout link to prevent SPAM complaints. And, always put some thought in your message to make it believable and worth time to read.

    2. Advertising copy (clever, "eye catching" ad title)

    3. ad tracking - Do it!

    4. Search engine placement using appropriate RELEVANT keywords with high ranking KEI value. (10 or more, the higher the better)

    5. Use as many FREE ad services you can handle, (NOT CLASSIFIED), like feeds, Blogs, Groups, etc. These ads will be TARGETED to YOUR product or services.

    6. Linking - Create inbound and outbound RELEVANT links. This adds a sense of importance to your site to Search Engines. The more inbound links the more important your site, at least in the "eyes" of Search Engines.

    7. Be prepared to invest capital, (money) - BUT, PREPARE a monthly BUDGET, and monitor your GROSS PROFIT - (Gross Sales minus COST of Sales).

As gross profit increases, (hopefully), increase investment in ADVERTISING AND MARKETING.

"Targeted Marketing" of well-written email, professionally looking, (no typos, good formatting), with eye-catching titles, sent to a targeted market, are cost effective and very productive.

However, that only represents about 48% of your total market. The other 52% comes from Search Engines.

Newsletters are excellent for staying in touch with your existing customers or downlines. We use ONLINE software whenever possible, (NO DOWNLOADS, NO RETURN EMAILS, AUTOMATED, and excellent TRACKING).

Ad copy placed anywhere must have a catchy ad title, and substantive copy that will create immediate curiosity.

“Tweak” the ads for better ad copy.

Ad tracking helps save money, produces better results and increases Search engine placement (SEO), increases sales, and will guaranty traffic; traffic equals sales. I am a bit of a stats nut, but, it sure pays off.

A long time ago, when we first started email marketing, we set up an ad tracking system using a spreadsheet application.

Now, our delivery system provides highly sophisticated stats for information, (NOT FOR TRACKING OUR READERS), but to manage the success, or failure of a specific campaign, based on readers' habits.

The information is statistical not by name! This did take a little time to set up; however, once its done, it’s done.

TWO last words regarding ad tracking, DO IT!

A word about Search Engines - Keywords, content, traffic, and. . . incoming and out going LINKS are the ingredients NEEDED To optimize your website, and improve the CONVERSION RATE of your Website.

First, find the CORE keywords people are using, related to YOUR industry. Make sure the search results, from the keywords you select, are relevant, and then OPTIMIZE your site for those search phrases.

    Take The Risk
The only way to grow your self, your business, your team and your division is by being willing to take risks by being willing to be uncomfortable and to stretch. You can stretch and grow in a number of ways, right now, today. Here are two action steps that you may not be using and that will cause you to stretch within. These techniques may not feel 'comfortable' to you. Stretch and try them anyway. To be a better manager you must be willing to go beyond your fears and break through your own barriers. If you expect your team to stretch then you must be the example. If you have meetings set up today start the meeting by asking for accomplishments or good news that you can share. Barbara Glanz (www.barbaraglanz.com) shared at the Society of Human Resources that she offered this tip to a manager. She told him to spend three (3) minutes at each meeting to have team member share their good news (work, family, personal accomplishments). The manager followed through and the results have been outstanding. People now show up on time to the meetings (they don't want to miss the accolades), productivity increased (because people like sharing their accomplishments), the team became more unified AND there was less in-fighting - all for one and one for all became their motto. Here is another technique to use on a one-on-one basis.

    Success Team to Business Success
If you've read my article, "Turn Your Passion into Business and Marketing Success", you may have seen this statement -- DON'T DO IT ALONE! I relate creating a successful business to the farmers I have seen in their fields. Have you ever had the chance to take a drive in the country during harvest time? You will notice many farmers in one field for days and then they move to their neighbor's field helping each other have a successful harvest. This has been going on for decades; it’s not a new idea. We need the same help in our businesses. There was a time when my business first began I thought I was supposed to do it alone. In fact, for the first year or two I was under the strange impression that if I asked for help I was weak and I was supposed to have all of the answers. WOW, what an eye opener the day I realized how much I was depriving myself and my business of substance, wisdom, fun and new evolving ideas. Then another big awareness hit. I began looking at my strengths -- how I best interacted with people -- what truly energized me. TEAMS!! Multiples of business people that needed and wanted the same end result -- Building their Business. I began seeking teams that were forming; business classes with small groups; forming my own team, and now facilitating Success Teams. I will never be without a team. It would rob me of th

How to Turn Your Resume or CV into a Website
With the many job sites out there, as web professionals, one probably has one, two or several resumes online from which prospective employers can peruse. It's getting to be a challenge to stand out from the crowd. Why not take it one step further and turn your resume or CV into a website.Find WebspaceThe first step is of course, finding webspace. There are many free web hosts. The downside is that most of them have advertising on the pages. It's a good starting place since most of them allow you to build and publish the pages on the spot. However, if you are more experienced you could opt for no ads web-hosting and a URL. The good news is that web-hosting rates are coming down. They are even as low as $5.00 US a month. Some web-hosts have What-You-See-Is What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) builders to help beginners establish their web presence.Domain names (also known as URLs or web addresses) prices are also coming down as well. Some web hosts can handle the registration as well.Back to the resumeTake a look at the resume and see how many visible sections there are. Those sections can be your pages. A sample listing of sections can go as follows: Experience Education Activities Contact information This is already four sections that

When Do You Stop Marketing To Customers?
Are you afraid of alienating your customer with your marketing? Do you always feel like a stranger in their inbox? Do you have marketing strategies specifically designed to tell you when to keep marketing, and when to stop? Well, stop looking so puzzled. In the marketing article below, I’m going to bring home to you exactly how to join the dots. You will learn just how much to market, and when to stop. Yes, it is a science and marketing strategy, and it applies to online as well as offline marketing. So, pay close attention. Why Dennis Was FumingDennis McConnell was going nuts, literally. He sailed merrily into the office this morning only to find seven unsubscribe messages in his inbox. This was in response to an email he sent out marketing his upcoming Power Photoshop workshops. His merriness took instant flight. His mood transmogrified into the colour of winter, and the sunshine outside didn’t seem to count for much. (Yes, it’s still toasty summer in New Zealand!)From Angry To Stupid In Twelve Minutes FlatLike most marketers, Dennis spun around 180 degrees. He pulled the plug on his marketing and decided to send even fewer emails to his subscribers. Why anger them, he thought? The longer he thought about it, the deeper he swam into his turgid pool of fear. That Is, Was, And Will Be His Big Mistake

This is a very simplistic explanation to a complicated issue, but I think it may give you an idea of where, and how to start.

    We ARE NOT DONE!

EDIT your KEYWORD PHRASES into your website in a clever way, so that they DO NOT APPEAR AS A LIST. That is keyword spamming, and, won't get you a favorable position anywhere.

The same principles of TARGETED EMAIL MARKETING APPLY TO TARGETED SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING. Don't throw leaves in the wind. Very few if any will fall at your feet.

Using Targeted Email marketing and Targeted Search Engine Marketing will accelerate YOUR CTR, (Click Through Rate), and expose your offer to more interested buyers, which in turn increases your CONVERSION RATE!

Allow me to explain the unbelievable results that can be obtained with just marginal increases of your conversion rate. For example if 100 visitors per day produces 1 sale, that's a conversion rate of 1%.

    Right?

The conversion rate is the Single, most important factor that determines if you have a long term profitable Internet Business or, another one of the 95% failures.

We closely follow various Internet Search Engine Marketing Newsletters.

In a recently published article on this very subject, dated March 22, 2006, an excellant explanation of CTR was discussed.

I am going to quote an example from his article:

" . . . And exactly WHY is the conversion rate so important? When you have a higher conversion rate you can actually get more traffic to your web site. Read that above sentence again. Then re-read it.

Take a print-out of the above sentence and paste that paper on to the wall opposite to your bed so that you can read that sentence every time you wake up in the morning.

Read that sentence until you memorize it. Read it until you become sick of seeing it. It's THAT important. Done? Now let me PROVE to you why that sentence is so important.

Let's do some simple math. Take that web site of yours which is getting 100 visitors a day and has a conversion rate of 2%. Let's assume the product being sold, from your site is a piece of software that costs $50. Let's also assume, that all those 100 visitors are coming from the pay per click engines and that you are paying $0.50 on average for each visitor.

How much profit do you think your web site is making per day? Well, it is generating 2 sales a day at $50 per sale. That's $100 in revenues per day.

You paid $0.50 cents for each of the 100 visitors the site received, and that costs $50. Therefore, the site is making a net profit of $100 less $50, i.e. $50 per day.

    Still with me? Good..

Now, let's say that through some black magic, the website's conversion rate suddenly improves from 2% to 3%, i.e., it increases by 50% . . . So, the site now starts getting 3 orders a day. So, it's revenues increase to $150 per day from $100 per day, i.e, a 50% jump.

    And what are its profits?

    That's $150 - $50, i.e. $100 per day.

Therefore, the profits have increased by 100% - from $50 a day to $100 a day. Remember, that you were paying 50 cents per click to the pay per click search engines? Now let's say that with a bid 50 cents, you are able to get the #3 position for the keywords, that you are bidding on.

However, you are now earning a lot more per visitor than what you were earning earlier. This means that you can now afford to increase your bids.

(You couldn't have increased your bid earlier if you wanted to maintain your profit margin)

Let's say you increase it to 60 cents. And what happens when you increase your bid? It means that you will now get a lot more traffi
