    Ethics in Advertising
Making money and corrupting the morals of a minor at the same time is not my idea of ethical advertising. Recently a television ad depicted a small boy breaking a window so the owner's wife could upgrade to their own style of window. There were several messages inherent in this ad that bother me.First, it says that it is O.K. to destroy other people's property if the owner gets someone else to do it. It's like arson, but without the fire. Then, if you lie to the insurance company (and your husband) and say it was an accident, you can use the money to buy a new window.Of course, since the damage will be over a thousand dollars, the crime is now a felony. Felons can't hold government jobs and are marked for lif
et everything up before you get a return on your investment, but you have to invest yourself and your time into it to reap the rewards.

My total time cost for my campaign was about 6 hours, not too bad really, I spend longer just surfing daily.

Once the campaign was up and running I have found that minute for minute my returns have come back to me at a rate of about 10 to 1,basically for every minute invested I have had back about 10 minutes of hits and traffic to my sites, truly good returns, I couldn't get that kind of return using any other traffic methods, not even PPC giv

Again I will ask, what the hell is viral marketing, or more importantly what is viral marketing all about.?

I have always had problems getting hits and traffic to my sites, always, it is one of the biggest pains in my ass, the constant battle for traffic and paying customers. I really wouldn't mind the daily battles getting traffic to my sites if I was making money from them but apart from a few "sympathy" sales none of my sites were what you would call profitable, now if I was selling crap that would not be a problem but I deal in high quality information products that take a lot of research and time, so the battle for traffic is really a bit of a pet hate of mine, I need new and EFFECTIVE ways to get my hits and paying customer rates up. And as cheaply as possible too, both in money and time terms.

I have spent weeks searching for a boost to my traffic numbers, when I came across an article about a form of traffic generation called "viral marketing" The methods it described seemed very interesting and useful to me, I particularly liked these facts.

    1)It was FREE

2)The only real cost was my time

3)Even my time cost was low, when you consider the returns.

4)Once set up it just kept going all by itself.

5)If done correctly the actual exposure for my marketing campaign would reach every corner of the internet.

    6)Again, it is FREE.

FREE MARKETING, the golden egg every marketer wants, only in this case viral marketing is a FREE resource, I have a huge collection of e-books on every subject and it wasn't until I read them and realised that every page of every e-book has a hidden advertisement on every page, the links at either the bottom or top or both of every page, FREE ADS, obviously when you read the e book you see the ads and if they interest you then you will click on them and go to that site, easy and so good. This form of marketing can only bring you the online entrepreneur more money to your pocket, so simple but truly brilliant.

And yes like all business dealings there is always a cost, only this time it was only costing me a couple of hours of typing at my keyboard, nothing else, so no real loss there then.

In any business there is a cost to everything, only with viral marketing your only cost really is your time, it takes time to set the campaign in motion and time to set everything up before you get a return on your investment, but you have to invest yourself and your time into it to reap the rewards.

Tips for Creating Brilliant Business Names
Imagine if Yahoo! had been named TheInternetDirectoy. Or StarBucks was christened “Premier Coffees”. The names would be far more descriptive than their current ones. But they wouldn’t embody the essence or spirit of the companies they represent. Even if they offered the exact same goods and services, it’s unlikely Yahoo! or StarBucks would enjoy the same market share they now possess if given the more descriptive, and arguably accurate, names. Now why is that?In short, great brand names leverage our emotions. They resonate with the experiential right side of the brain vs. the logical left lobe. And emotions carry more motivational “charge” than logic. People buy emotionally and then justify rationally. And be

A Sure Fire Way to Say You Do NOT Care About Your Customers
There are many ways to show your customers that you care about them. Let me share one that tells your customers that YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEM. Remember, my friend, that in business it is sometimes the little things that begin to tear down the company that we have worked so hard to build. One of those little things is a real problem to me. I see it in almost every company and at almost every level. It is my belief that we do not realize the impact it has on people. In some small way it affects our "believability." What is it? It is the thing we can not do without. It's the telephone.Whether you like it or not we live in the age of voice mail. There are some who wish they could return to the good old days and talk to a rea

Entrepreneur News- 3 Ways To Get Your Reconnaissance
As an entrepreneur, information is the base of all profits. Knowing how to get the right information about your projects and doing it quietly is like money in the bank.1) Networking is number one on the list. A good working relationship with a selection of peers can really help in finding and assessing projects. It takes time to develop a good network of hand picked people that you commonly keep contact with. Trust is a big issue but more importantly quality of positioning is more of an issue. By positioning I mean how that person fits within the relationship of the type of project you do and where they fit within that scheme. For example a rich source of contacts is the humble sales person or broker. They are easy to meet

    Assessing Value
A client of ours recently asked us to help his company increase sales revenue. "Our sales are okay, but not what we need them to be," he said. "I just have to believe we could be closing more business. Once we get in the door, the sales process goes very well. It's getting in that's the problem."What else is new? Many companies have the goal of sustaining existence by selling what they make. Great companies focus on delivering unique value -- even before a single product or service is purchased. It's an old saw that is still ignored by far too many businesses. Our client's problem is simple: His company fails to communicate unique value to the target market.LifebloodCommunication is the lif

Longevity, ask yourself this how long do you think most ad campaigns last on the net??? The figures I have suggest about 12 hours per campaign in real terms, not long is it??? That is 12 hours in actual clicked on exposure, and most campaigns cost thousands to run, so your return on investment is crap.

Again,Longevity, the length of your exposure is entirely dependant on the nature of your campaign vehicle, that is what the hell you are using to expose your stuff to your customers with. With viral marketing your exposure is constantly growing and expanding net wide and the return on your time investment is far more in proportion to the effort you expended starting it up, so again return on investment is very good for very little financial costs.

Net exposure, the goal of every online marketer is to reach every pc connected to the net, thus ensuring maximum viewings if their product selection to the entire online world, nice dream but it simply will not happen using "traditional” marketing methods online.

Viral marketing differs though because of it's nature viral marketing has a presence throughout the net, and every time someone reads an e-book and passes it on or someone posts an article about any subject, like gossip that spreads around a small town like wildfire, viral marketing does the same, which makes it quite the most perfect from of ad campaign there is, the minute you get one person talking about your campaign or product then you have cracked it and your sales will grow.

Back to the first point I made, the whole basis of viral marketing is that it is FREE. Free, simple and easy to do, but very very profitable if done right.

Your choice which is the most preferred to you, hugely expensive ad campaigns which only reach a tiny percentage of net users or a very quiet, simple and FREE campaign which will reach hundreds of thousands if not millions of potential customers at NO COST to you other than time, thus maximising your bottom line. I know what one I prefer and still use.

Very simple, I have found viral marketing to be a god send to my business, boosting my turnover and profit margins through the roof, so simple it should be banned, I have seen my traffic go from 100 hits a week to over 5000 a day, you simply do not get any better proof than that, vir
