So what does the next few years herald for the UK in terms of graphic design jobs and the widespread outsourcing of design to foreign territories?Design Specialism Increasingly we will will see more and more specialists focusing specifically on core businesses. Google is just an electronic pulse, and it does not car a jot about your content. It cares if you make spelling mistakes, it cares about links, it cares about whether your code is correct. But it cares nothing for your content.

The truth is that most vacation property owners don't really need much content in their websites. You want enough for your guests to be interested.

But there is a bit more to it than this. If you want people to search for your site, then you have to suck up to Google. Google cares a lot about the people who link to your sites from their sites. This is why you might need some content because if your site has rich content and a lot of it, it becomes more attractive for other people to link to you.

Tip number one for vacation rental web sites.

Google does not care about photographs either, yet you need absolutely the best you can get. Why? Because photographs swing the guests. In Scotland where we have our property anywhere you look it is stunningly beautiful all over the Highlands. In Scotland we call it self catering. Online Anonymity - A Double Edged Sword?
Online anonymity is a double edged sword. You can safely go online and surf the web, and remain unknown to people you may come into contact with. This, many people are finding out, is also a problem. It has come into light that the internet can be a very nasty place when no one knows who is behind the keyboard. It is rather easy for websites to track user’s locations, what browser they are using, and other information. What no one can tell you though, is who exactly is behind the keyboard. Psychologists confirmed that the mask of anonymity can eventually make a

    Job Searching Exploration
I had the privilege to watch my son, Noah, by myself last night for a few hours since my wife, his mother, had to work late. Dad and son had a grand old time playing and crawling and destroying everything that got in our path!My son just turned seven months old yesterday which means he is willing to explore everything and anything. Now I will say that according to the web sites we read he is acting like he is 10 or 12 months, not seven. He is able to crawl at a very high rate of speed, pull himself up on anything that will support his weight, babble on and

The Difference Between Management and Leadership
A 27 year old manager named Justin who attended my seminar at the University of Wisconsin asked why his employees didn’t accept his authority, even though he had been given the official title of General Manager. He was taking over a trucking company from his father and thought it was because of his age, or the fact that his father founded the company. It was neither. Bill Ford’s great grandfather, Henry Ford, founded Ford Motor Company. Yet Bill’s employee’s accept his authority regardless of his family ties. Really, truly, whatever you do, do this right - get the most beautiful photographs ever made of your area. Not necessarily of your property - of your area. You can download them free from Yahoo's site www.flickr.com if you give the photographer a credit.

    Second tip

You have to show your property details. Don't bother with the floor plan and all that architects nonsense. God when did a floor plan turn anyone on?

You need to say something about the the nearest shops, the road outside, safety for children, smoking/no smoking policy and pets/no pets, local transport, perhaps churches.

    Third tip - show availability

Up to date availability on your site is a must if you want to show visitors that you know what you are doing and you want to avoid all those excruciating enquiries when you are already booked for the week they want.

    Fourth tip - show prices

Many people don't take off old out of date prices from their site. This is very sloppy and it shows
