    Pain Killer Addiction And Abuse
Pain killer (and other opiates), and prescription drug abuse is one of the largest growing problems in America today. The users (and abusers) of pain killers and other prescription drugs come in all ages, shapes and sizes.Prescription drug abuse in general is a huge problem today, but pain killers are probably the most largely abused prescription drug.It has been hitting America hard for the last few

Our need for speed, our insatiable lust for instant gratification has even focused on spiritual development. It isn’t bad enough that we want five minute miracle diets, now we want instant enlightenment as well. We want nirvana in the form of easy to swallow, three second sound bytes. We want personal empowerment in a conveniently resealable package that stays fresh until we are ready to use it.

Communication Counts - How To Make People Pay Attention
So, there is something you think someone needs to know. But they are busy, or swamped with messages, or just don’t think it is important. These days we are inundated with more communications, e-mails, newspapers, junk-mail, TV, web, memos, signs, than ever before so it is very hard to make your message stand out. There are a few methods you can use to help people see that your message is worth paying attention to, w
It’s quite easy to blame a lack in family values for the ills of society. Indeed there is a great need to offer more education in the home on matters of morality, spiritual empowerment and a host of others issues related to healthy behaviour and thinking. But before we place the blame for a morally bankrupt society totally on the heads of unsuspecting parents we need to take a closer look at the current structure and dynamics of society itself.

We live during a time where a premium is placed on instant gratification. We have little time in our days to spare on meaningful conversation, not to mention polite behaviour. We grow annoyed at the slightest deviation from our perceived schedules. An old woman in line at the grocery store checkout fumbles in her purse in search of the exact amount of money to pay for her groceries, she strays beyond some imaginary, preconceived time limit for grocery store purchases and we start to feel agitated, maybe even downright irate. Hey, screw you old lady!, get it over with already! I got microwave pizza to nuke before ”The Biggest Loser” comes on!!....geeez!!!

We want to get from point A to Point B as fast as humanly possible, if not faster. People who drive slowly on the highway are the absolute worst human beings on the planet and we have no problem with rolling down the window and screaming this fact at them until we are red in the face. We might even run them off the road; we might even shoot them with a gun! After all they’re driving far too slowly, and that is the worst crime imaginable. Charles Manson? Sure…let him out of jail, as long he drives his car three times over the speed limit, he’s all right.

Yup, that’s the world we live in. It’s no wonder that self help gurus are sprouting up all over the place faster than you can say,” Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better”. We all know the human race has gone bonkers. We want someone to fix it and fix it fast. Churches aren’t working, there just too damned slow. Drive-thru salvation, now there’s an idea! You want eternal peace with those fries? We are happy to shell out a couple of hundred bucks for the latest neatly packaged promise of personal sanity. We are elated to discover that our problems are so common that someone finally went through the trouble of telling us just how common they are.

How to Find Research Paper Topic Ideas

Pragmatic Ethics; Are You a Liar in Disguise?
Have you ever met someone who puts themselves out as ethical at every turn, always talking about ethics like a Catholic Priest who is screwing little kids behind everyone’s back yet preaching the Holy Bible the rest of the time? These pragmatic ethically challenged individuals are everywhere. Just when you think you have found an ethical person, as you learn more you find that their ethics only go so far. Kind of li

Credit cards are so much a part of everyday living that it is hard to imagine what life would be like without them. The unfiltered truth is that spiritual development is gained from life experiences. If the majority of your daily experiences involves running against the ticking stop watch of society, then your sense of spiritual self has little else to do but wait on the sidelines until the race is over. Slow down long enough to find purpose in the world. Take the time to have meaningful conversations with your children. Talk to them about this crazy planet we all live on. Maybe we can’t cure all of the ills of society, but this is one thing we can do to heal our own little place within it.
