Duplicate Content: What You Ought to Know About
Take a look at your website. How much of your content might be considered as duplicate by a search engine algorithm? Even though you never copy anyone you can't answer 'none' because someone can be copying you. Duplicate content is one of the biggest issues both for search engines trying to keep their results' relevancy high, and webmasters trying to avoid search engine penalties.Penalties for having duplicate content can be really harmful. This is not just a downgrade in rankings but a move to supplementary results which are hardly visible to the most of the web users. Normally it is expected that Google would select one URL over another to display in SERPs, while duplicates could be found in supplemental results. Unfortunately this is not always so. In the thread "Duplicate content observation" in the WebmasterWorld.com forum you can read about

My Amazing Story: How I Lost Thirty Pounds After Having A Baby
Two months after I got married, I got pregnant. Before I got pregnant I weighed a healthy 150 pounds, and believe me, when I realized I was pregnant I was very worried that my body was going to explode, and it did. But here is a story about how weight loss after pregnancy is possible, but this particular way is not recommended. How I Gained the WeightBeing newly married and being newly pregnant were two things that led me to eat. I ate and ate and ate and ate. Before the first trimester was over I weighed 175 pounds. The ice cream tasted very good, but the numbers on the scale made me sick to my stomach. By the time the second trimester rolled around, I was sure that if I lay down on the ground I could roll around too.I listened to the OB/GYN when he said that I should take better care of myself during the pregnancy for myself and the baby’s sake, but food was comforting me in a time of emotional upheaval.
I don’t think a person’s philosophy of life is what he says as much as it is what he does. There are some people with really great philosophies who don’t ever talk about them or write them down. They’re so busy living how they should that they probably don’t even know they have a philosophy. I think if we watch people like that we can learn about how to live instead of how to talk about how to live.

There’s a guy I’ve been working with for a long time, and when I was trying to figure out what I really believe in, I got to thinking about him. I mostly only see him at work, but I’ve got to believe that he lives his whole life the same way he does his job. The name tag on his cube says G. Nilpik. Nobody seems to know what the G stands for, but it must be kind of hard to pronounce because everybody calls him Rudy. It doesn’t matter to me what kind of name that is, because I don’t think his ethnic background has got as much to do with how he lives as the kind of person he’s decided to be.

In our business, competition is tough, and the margins are usually small. When things go right, everybody’s ready to take the credit. When they go wrong, somebody always has to take the blame. Usually it’s the person who came up with the idea in the first place. Rudy’s in product development. It’s his job to come up with new things to market. I’ve seen Rudy in meetings stay absolutely calm with a bunch of people running in circles because a project is crashing, and they’re trying to say it’s his fault. He just says, “OK. So, now we know the problem. How about we spend our time on finding the solution?” It doesn’t bother him that the people who backed him when it seemed like a good idea are the ones who are saying it’s all his fault. Yoga: Downward-Facing Dog
Most hatha yoga classes have students performing Downward-Facing Dog throughout the class. This invigorating pose is one of the foundational poses that are an integral part of many vinyasa sequences. Downward Dog livens up the body from the hips to the spine right through to the fingers and toes, making you feel more alive and vibrant.Although the pose appears quite simple, it is actually very complex. Its benefits are also numerous. It demands a balanced effort from the arms, legs and torso and stretches and strengthens the whole body.Downward Dog is used as a home base in many flow classes to neutralize the spine and bring it back to its natural alignment. Since it involves inversion it's useful for beginners to experience the sensation of being upside down. The following two versions will help you to rediscover, refine and "refeel" Downward Dog, even if you have done it countless times. This pose can uncover

The dream of becoming a high earning UK mortgage adviser or even an independent mortgage broker is literally just a few steps away for the individual who is looking to make a career change or only just deciding on the career direction to take. We all strive for success by studying for university degrees, attend courses and continuously look for a spark for direction in life and it's not until we see a professional person in front of us that we realise that it's a job that we would like to do. It seems easy watching that mortgage adviser working at the height of his/her career without realising what price they have had to pay to achieve success. The good news is that for individuals looking to go into the UK Financial Services Industry, it’s actually easier then you think to get going. The key to becoming a qualified UK mortgage adviser is to achieve a pass in a mortgage advice qualification, both of which can be ta

    Facts about Pop-Over (Pop-in) Windows
Let's go through some facts about this useful technology.Pop-Over Fact: Any business or individual can benefit from Pop-overs. Pop-overs, if used right, can increase response to special offers or newsletter sign-ups. It's not a coincidence that most major ISP's or Internet related companies use this technology to increase their sales.Pop-Over Fact: It's not easy to block a pop-over window. Instead of opening a new browser window as the pop-ups of years gone by did, pop-overs remain a part of the web page as a mixture of HTML and Javascript. That makes it very difficult for a traditional pop-up blocker software to ban them and stop them from appearing.Pop-Over fact: Pop-over windows are versatile and elegant. You can create various designs and styles. You can make pop-over windows that suddenly appear on the visitor's screen or slide from one side of the screen to the other. Pop overs can deliver

5 Ways To Keep Romance Alive – On A Budget
Just about everyone agrees that a nice dinner and a good bottle of wine at a quiet, intimate restaurant will set the mood for romance, but have you seen the price tag? Not everyone can afford to spend big money on romance ever time, but a bit of creativity can get the same results without breaking the bank. While most people know about ‘his and hers’ items like bathrobes and towels, there are a number of other items that can be enjoyed together as ‘couples’ items. Try getting matching T-shirts with cute sayings on them. Have matching his and hers overnight bags, coffee mugs, bicycles, cell phones, cars, holiday ornaments, tennis rackets, rocking chairs and even matching carved pumpkins on Halloween.Surprise your partner by making the ordinary a little more special. If he or she is enjoying a good book, remove the bookmark and replace it with a note that says, “I bet you’ll never guess where I’ve hidden your bookmark.” If

Sometimes, around here, getting what you need for a project depends a lot of office politics or who you’re buddies with. Rudy doesn’t think it should be that way, so when he asks for something, he doesn’t always get it as fast as another guy might. But he doesn’t go stomping around and trying to bully people. He just says, “Well, I’ll be here when you get a chance.” Then he just waits, sometime right there. People ask him what he’s waiting for, he tells them. After a while, it makes the person look so bad that they have to get him what he needs just so it doesn’t look like they’re totally incompetent.

With us, it’s like they say about war. Truth is the first casualty. When there’s trouble, people will try to cover themselves by giving their own version of the situation. But not Rudy. I say to him that so-and-so is spreading lies about him or that somebody is trying to get him because they don’t like him. I ask him shouldn’t he do something to fight back? He says he won’t let someone else force him to be a liar, and it’s his choice who he’s mad at or who he doesn’t like, and he won’t let other people decide for him. But that doesn’t make him holier than thou. He’s got emotions like everybody else, and when he makes a mistake, he gets upset and angry same as any of us. But when things go right, he doesn’t go around talking about how smart he is.
