    In all my answers to them, I've never failed to mention the most important source of information. That is forums. There are multitudes of books on the subject of marketing. Within marketing, there are so many niches: SEO, White hat, black hat, social bookmark, articles, bum marketing etc etc. In each of them, you'll never fail to find some known gurus who are well known experts on the subject. To learn from them equates to spending a sum of money to buy their books/product. This often poses 2 problems 1) Who are the real expert ( everyone claims they're the guru

    This is why I always suggest all newbies or otherwise to actively participate in forums. What people don't realize is the online community, although filled with fraud, are also filled with kind seniors who are very willing to lend a helping hand. While it is unlikely to find someone who will slowly talk through a huge topic with you, it is a good place for simple Q&A. A few things that I always do myself are the following
