    Call Center Careers: Examined
Say the phrase 'Call Center Careers' and sudden images of telemarketers flood the minds of many. This is an unfortunate stigma. The truth is, Call Center Careers are much more and offer a wide range of demands and tasks. It's not just someone trying to sell you something; it's an act

  • Little things. Toothpaste suddenly gets a life of it's own. Drawers magically jump out at you and whack your shin (or worse). You might even miss the coffee cup when you pour the kettle. There are a ton of these and I could (as I have been victim myself) write all day. I hope you get the thrust here.
    Providing Value to the Market
Your business will achieve success to the direct proportion that you deliver value according to the marketplace. As an entrepreneur and founder of The Flourishing Business and The Flourishing Methodology, I have found that the essence of any business is to create value for others. Para
Things go wrong. There are those 'bad' days, when whatever we touch seems to just not be right or work right.

There is a simple test to this, which I call 'The Inanimate Object Rule'. This rule states that if you have a problem with anything that is not living (i.e. inanimate), then it's time to take notice.

That said, if you are having problems with inanimate objects, chances are the animate things around you will play up too.

In my experience, the inanimate object problems show up first, so taking note of them earlier, rather than later, will save you way more problems.

What are these inanimate objects then and how do they show up?

    • Top of my list are computers and any other technical object, especially gizmos. These will play up in this scenario most often. In fact you even treat them like real living things (which, of course, they aren't), and talk to them, shout at them and even blame them for when things go wrong.

    • Next up are things that it's easy to lose, like keys, purses, and those little gizmo things above.

    • Then it's transport. Things don't run on time, your car won't start and/or the traffic, just on that special day, is the worst it could be.

Is Your Career Your Calling or Just a 9 to 5?
Do you remember your parents asking you what you want to be when you grow up? By the time I was in the 9th grade, my mother started asking me that same question until I graduated from high school. At that time I wasn’t 100% sure what career path I would take, but I had several ideas.notice.

10 Things Every Successful Yellow Page Ad Needs
I should probably begin with my qualifications that allows me to proclaim what an ad requires. I was a Yellow Page rep and consultant for nearly 25 years and, prior to that, had my own advertising agency. I also have a degree in marketing. I’ve been designing Yellow Page ads for the past

Improving Your Interviewing Skills In Seven Steps
Even with all of the technological advances available these days, you still need to keep some old rules in mind when applying for a job. Whether you are applying for a job at a fast food restaurant or a multi-million dollar corporation, you need to understand that when you interview for

Extend Your Brand With The Right Campaign Slogan
A campaign slogan is essentially the same as a brand. It does more than describe the campaign. It leaves a lasting imprint in the listener's or viewer's mind. A campaign slogan can be an important part of the strategic marketing of a nonprofit organization.Like a good brand, a go

So, what to do about it?

        1. Try to spot it as early as you can.

        2. Commend yourself with a smile when you do spot it.

        3. Stop whatever you are doing immediately.
        4. Take three deep breaths and slow right down.

        5. Do things at half pace and very deliberately.

        6. Notice how well things are going now.

        7. Smile and enjoy the slower pace.

        8. Notice, as learning for the future, how things got better.

        9. Continue with the day, making big efforts to enjoy it.

        10. Finally, spend time listening to your people today.

        Interesting - eh?

Enjoy noticing those little monster moments, seeing them for what they are and making real progress with them, just as soon as you like!
