Delighting Customers - Three Solutions to Make the Difference
Customer service is the holy grail of most service and product organisations. Yet there are three basics that are vital to go further - to delight your customers...The radio show I was listening to was debating the reasons for rude and offhand customer service. I had to share wit

Brand Identity: Picture it with Power
Your vision is clear, you’ve identified your product; now BRAND it! What’s the purpose?Your BRAND identifies your product as belonging to you. When I write an article for the Internet, I brand it with my signature and my author box at the bottom. When I paint a picture I sign it
Leaders are people who achieve results. Leaders are those whose attitudes and actions lead to positive results. Sending your staff to leadership training may not deliver the goods you're looking for! It helps them build a foundation for achieving the objectives, if they get to implement the knowledge. Some never do.

I've spent time with several organizations who send people to fancy schools and programs. When I say fancy, I mean high end fancy, like creepers on walls fancy. Does that mean it will make your team into leaders. Maybe. No guarantees. Executive programs are designed to make schools successful, not your company, or your staff.

Leaders and potential leaders need to be challenged to produce results. They need goals or objectives to achieve. They need to show their staff and team members they have what it takes. They don't have to actually do everything to achieve the results but they need to put a plan into action and see it thorough to completion.

    Leaders produce results!! That's it.

Remember how Audey Murphy took the machine gun nest, the rest was history? Yeah? He produced results. His attitude and actions made him successful. Yes he had good training along the way. But his attitude and actions lead him to achieve positive results. Those that realized he had what it takes followed him.

Business leadership is exactly the same. You need to set people up to succeed. Developing a process where by team members can set goals and objectives that meet the organizations overall strategic plan. Potential leaders that were successful in one area are often not successful in their new promotion. Well, they have not really defined their own strategy for execution of corporate and their own goals. Until they do they will flop around like a fish out of water.

What is a Dollar? A Unit of Trade and that is It
We are seeing a drying up of consumer dollars in our markets. But remember the dollar is only an instrument of trade; it is merely a leveling point for evaluation. The dollar creates intrinsic value in everything we desire based on the value we and everyone else in a market sector place

    The Price Wasn't Right!
I just got back from my local wireless store and I’m full of venom! Have you tried to buy a new phone lately? There are many different prices for every phone. First, it was $150, then $200, then $250. My son, an 11-year old with a Blackberry, wanted the Pearl and had saved enough mon

    The Importance Of A Brand
What do you think of when I say Coca-Cola, Microsoft, IBM, GE, Intel and Nokia? Well, if you said they are all big companies, you'd be right. But they are also the six top rated global brands as judged in a survey conducted by Business Week earlier this year (2006).Why is a bra
