Car Wash Fundraiser Ticket Sales Considered
If your nonprofit group is having a car wash fundraiser then perhaps you will want to do presale tickets. This is a pretty good idea because 80% percent of the people who buy car wash fundraiser tickets never actually show up the day of the event. This means you have m

    Knowing Your Business Niche
Finding your wholesale niche should rank as one of your top priorities. If your business is retail oriented, or e-commerce based, the following is just as important.Developing a business focused on a targeted niche can be the difference between long term suc
I close my eyes and imagine how free my community would feel if all of its fundraising needs were consistently met. Every child could be adequately clothed, nutritiously fed, and attending a well-equipped school. Local sports teams, the Boy Scouts, etc. could be more affordable – maybe even free -- for struggling families. My hospital could have more beds, staff and equipment which would mean reduced waiting time for scheduled surgeries, or in their emergency waiting rooms. Local cancer clinics, respite care, and health research projects could all improve the quality of life for my whole community, thanks to adequate funding for salaries, research, and maintenance. They could even save more lives.

I could go on and on; the list is endless. But you get the picture. An adequate supply of funds, on a continuing basis, would make everyone’s life more comfortable, and my local community would be a happier place to live.

The problem with conventional fundraising is that it requires an awful lot of time, energy and commitment. And for large-scale events, such as school or hospital fundraising days, steering committees must be formed; often only a handful of people do all of the work. After

Nonprofit Fund Raising – Make A Friend or Two
The truth behind nonprofit fund raising goes well beyond raising money. The secret really does lie in who you know when it comes to nonprofit fund raising. This article will take an old topic and add a new spin.If you are in charge of raising money for a nonprofit

How I Became a Reluctant Entrepreneur
I love owning my own businesses. After fifteen years the excitement still hasn’t worn off. I get up every morning happy to be heading off to the office (though I must admit I now ‘work from home’ one or two days a week). I enjoy the challenge and freedom of not having to

Customer Service and Conservative Political Conversations
Small Business Owners are some of the greatest Americans in our land and no one can debate that. They work harder than everyone else, do what they say they are going to do and get the job done for all the rest of us; God Bless the Small Business men and women of this gre

    Customer Service Is Key
I've written about customer service before but I want to touch on the subject again because this is such an important topic. In fact, getting the customer service aspect of your online (or offline) business right could mean the difference between success and failure....
fundraising is that it requires an awful lot of time, energy and commitment. And for large-scale events, such as school or hospital fundraising days, steering committees must be formed; often only a handful of people do all of the work. After the event, many people vow to never go through that again, so a whole new committee must be formed for the next time around. That is, if there even is a next time…

But what if there was an effective, local fundraising system where no one carries the burden of the work? What if it was free and effortless? What if the fundraising happened naturally, within the context of my regular shopping? What if I did not have to pay an extra cent for any of it?

I close my eyes and imagine. No more attempts to sell grossly over-priced chocolate on behalf of my child’s school. No more feeling obligated to buy raffle tickets for items I didn’t even want in the first place. No more feeling guilty when I can’t afford to support a worthy cause, when a volunteer promoter stops me on the street.

Impossible, you say? I don’t think so! “I have a dream…” How about you?
