Instead we allow them to be subjected to the daily venomous rhetoric of a woman more consumed with avenging some perceived wrong done to her than preserving the innocence of a child’s love for their father.

We see nothing wrong with a system that assumes that “the best interest of the child” is served by exclusively awarding custody and all rights to a mother over the father without any attempt at an impartial review of the facts. We should be held accountable as a nation for allowing this miscarriage of justice to continue at the expense of our children’s welfare.

At the very least, we should demand that a full impartial review of both parents and all that they have to offer a child be conducted. Maybe then mom won’t be so quick to leave a relationship that often is riddled with problems, that exist only in her mind.
