    What's in a Name
Different people call their Customers by different names. If they don’t have Customers, they have Clients, purchasers, licensees, users, patients, members, franchisees, or buyers. Each of these words carries meaning to those who say them. And those meanings say something about the health and long term success of the enterprise. What do I mean?Take a minute to do this right now. Write down the word or phrase that you use for your “Customer”. Then write down all of the connections or associations you make to

Back from a nice week in Devon, doing nothing except walk on the moors and lazing about. Couple of calls to the office – “Anything good happening?” “Well, it’s good you aren’t here” – and that’s about it. Didn’t even bother to travel 30 miles to take up the offer of a free lunch at Cornwall’s most famous seafood restaurant though, as this was compensation for a lunch I had there last year that pole axed me for three days with food poisoning, my non-attendance wasn’t 100% sloth related.Arrived to find an article - “Ho
So you have discovered the notion that it is possible to start using the internet for business purposes. There is a lot of ads out there luring you to start your own business by just using your PC from home. Now all of this is fair enough and there are a lot of people making a living this way, but what about you? The amount of information, by the way never free, is overwhelming. In fact, the internet is mainly used to "provide" information. Everybody is selling THE way to make money on the net. In their marketing campaigns they always promise you the world. You usually are told that this is a onetime offer and you will never get the chance to see this particular page ever again. Then you have to pay between $97 and $197 or more for a book. I bought a lot of these books and put myself in quite an interesting financial position. When I read these hyped up books I found out they are really nothing more than theory.

These people never tell you exactly what and how to do what they are so called teaching you. The reason for this is, there is always the follow-up book that you should be looking out for then you pay them again for something that has no real outcomes. Oh did I say no outcomes! Sorry, there are probably real outcomes in all of the authors mind, but they are invisible in the book. These people have no real stake in your success or failure. They already got your money and know full well that it will cost you a lot more time and effort to find the implementation yourself, if ever. You have to be an expert to apply what they "teach" you. The same funny thing happens in the offline job world. If you want a job, you better have some form of college or university degree AND experience. Now I ask you with tears in my navy blue eyes, where do you get experience if nobody wants to employ you without it. What use is spending a lot of money on education if you can't get experience because you can't get employed without experience. Wow! I can even say this word backwards Wow! Talk about putting the cart in front of the horse.

Now what do you need to start a business. First of all an idea for something would be great. It al boils down to trading in something, which is either a product, service or information. Then you will need a website. Make Your Products More Visible Through Catalogs
How do you get your products to your intended market? How do you introduce them to your goods and services? Television commercials usually promote one product at a time to familiarize consumers with the company or brand image. Huge billboards do the same thing and feature one product as well. But why promote one good product when you have so many?Attract your consumers and introduce them to a catalog of your products. This is the best way to promote and advertise a number of products to sell to your consumers. Catalo

Top Five Habits for Career Success at Entry Level
I am blessed to have some of the best bosses coach me when I first entered the working world. They passed to me what seemed like, at that time - pretty obvious things one would do when in the working world. What seemed pretty obvious as habits for career success isn’t always so. As you start on your career path you begin to forget some of the basic habits. Therefore, it is essential to drill these habits deep enough to remember them.As I progressed in the corporate world, I noticed that these are good habits t

    The Job-Seeker's Toolkit
It's tough out there in the job market, and it's critical to be prepared with the right tools. Of course, you need an up-to-date resume and some interview attire, but that's not all. Here are ten things that every job seeker must have:1) a grown-up, non-free email account. Nothing at hotmail or msn, and nothing with “sailinggirl” or “babytoasty” in it.2) a voicemail system that you listen to regularly, with a message that’s not too silly.3) a job search business card - even if you are already employed a

Now these affialiate marketers tells you you can do this without a website, but I'm wondering if their are real successful people without a website, even if it is a one pager. When you finally have a website it's still not enough, because nobody knows about it. You have to market this thing in the correct way in order for people to find it.To learn all this is going to cost you a lot of money and time and frustration, but maybe after a year of intense study and a lot of experimenting you will probably know enough and will also be able to call yourself a guru. But now I want to ask you: Is it necessary to invent the wheel? No it's already there. So why not find a program where you are provided with a real website, already loaded with income streams, as part of the deal and a course that takes you step by step through the process of internet business while actually building your business step by step so that by the time you're finished with the course you have the necessary knowledge and a business already earning you income. You just need to make sure that the owner of this system's personal success depends upon making you successful. Then this person has a real stake in your success and outcomes. They won't do the entire work for you, but rather with you, but at least you can rest assured they're not just in it for the fast buck they can make from you. There has to be a longterm relationship otherwise you will waste your time and money.

Let me just warn you, this is going to take time, effort and a little finance from you, but it is in my opinion by a long shot better than trying to find your way through the theoretical stuff written by the "gurus" who has no stake in your business. I hope you can use this information in your quest on the internet to not loose and waste a lot of money like I did. If I can prevent that for you, my own struggle will make more sense to me than just wasted time and money and energy.
