Training and helping others are absolute necessities in any network marketing business because network marketing is a people building business! Pay attention to and follow the steps below and your sales team will grow almost on it's own.

Take a sincere interest in helping other people. Success comes as a direct result of helping other people become successful. Don't focus on building yourself a paycheck instead focus on building a paycheck for your sales team. Your paycheck will take care of itself. This is a very simple philosophy, but one that is too often overlooked by a surprising number of people.

Find people's assets and build on them. Some people can build rapport, some are gatherers, some are closers, some are trainers and some are good at follow up. Find the strengths of the people on your sales team, help them build on their strengths and help them use them in co-operative marketing. For instance, have the best speakers in your group do company overviews and make sure your "gatherers" bring prospects. Train your new team members right away. It is vitally important for your new team members to develop confidence immediately. Confidence comes with being properly trained and tasting a bit of success in the first couple of days. Training means providing the necessary tools and systems and also showing them how to approach potential prospects, how to carry themselves, how to get people to an overview, how to make a sale and so on. This is a different business than most people are used to being involved in. You must instill the belief from the outset that, although there will be a lot of work involved, this is simple...it works...and they can do it! Help them taste their first bit of success by properly coaching them and/or meeting with their first few prospects.

The Rise Of The Dollar Stores
Sheryl Huenster is a self proclaimed dollar store junkie. The Clifton mother of four makes the trek to various fixed price stores within a ten mile radius of her white clapboard home two or three times per week.“I’m an addict. I admit it. I can’t go more than a week without visiting the stores, unless I’m on vacation. You better believe that when I go to the Jersey Shore I know where the all the stores are in the Toms River area,” she laughed.Years after the close of Woolworth’s and other “Five and Dime” sto

Traveling Safe when on International Business
Safety is a concern no matter where you travel in the world. Promote events, trainings and overviews. There is a tangible power in promoting the next big company event, training event or company overview. It's important to get your new distributors around other people who are doing and learning the business. This will help them realize that they are not the only one going through the learning process and that they have others to turn to for support. I have locked more people in long term by getting them to attend an annual company kickoff or large regional training than just about anything else I've done in my business. The people who make the most money are often times the people with the most new people at these events so be sure to promote, promote, promote.

Make sure you listen. Most of us are so busy talking that we don't take the time to listen. Listening is a skill that we all need to work on. Especially when recruiting and training new people, it is very important to take the time to listen to what they want. What are their likes and dislikes? What is it they want in life? What are they dissatisfied with? What do they want to do for their family? Ask these questions and more. Take notes so you can show them how they can accomplish their goals.

Become a role model. Follow a system that you can easily teach others to duplicate. Lead by example, let others watch you, teach them the system and then show them how to teach it to others.

Teach your team members to be accountable. Teach them to focus on getting results and to chart their daily successes. This will help them see that they are moving forward and show them areas they need to improve.

To ensure your success, you need to help others succeed on their terms. Make sure your new team members are trained right away. Then, continue to coach and mentor them as necessary. Make sure they are using the proven system instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Also, make sure your sales team works with their new team members. If they aren't, and you see talent and passion...take it upon yourself to help the p
